The syndrome of, “knowing all” in the surfing world is all to common. It might be fairly obvious that it would infect the most seasoned of jaded surfers with the most intensity. However, you might be curious to find that the “know it all” syndrome can equally infect the most novice of surfers equally bad. This is probably due to all of the corny, Hollywood surf movies that have been made and all of the surfing internet data you can obtain out there by, theoretically surfing on the internet. The problem is, everyone ‘thinks’ they are beyond informed and even after one surfing lesson, some people have been known to have the audacity to truly believe, that they have conquered surfing.
