Smoothies for surfers

About to go for a surf? Don’t want to eat anything too heavy, probably because the waves already are? You need something light, that will still fuel you with enough power to get you through the hours of water time you plan on clocking in. You need the energy to keep on going!

From us here at Oahu Surfing Experience, we would like to share with you, 3 of our favorite Smoothies for surfers recipes.

I like to call this one the “Steak and Potatoes” smoothie

Who needs to eat dessert when you can sip this apple pie , made from

almond milk or coconut milk,
plain yogurt, oatmeal, cinnamon, nutmeg,
vanilla extract, frozen banana, and ice.

Something on the light side

Grapefruit Smoothie Recipe
1 grapefruit, peeled
1 large orange, peeled
1 banana, peeled

Energizing Smoothie

2 pints pineapple
2 pints watermelon
2 quarts coconut water
2 green apples
